Metagenics is committed to offering products with ingredients that are not derived from genetically modified organisms (GMO).
Our standards require that all our vendors confirm the non-GMO source of their ingredients. For any ingredient where the source is soy, corn, or other plants that are often known to have been genetically modified, Metagenics demands separate processing and storage of the ingredients they supply us. Unlike many other companies, we require third-party certification confirming non-GMO status for these ingredients. At present we’re able to verify the non-GMO status of 98% of our ingredients, with product labeling that helps identify it.
